Composite bioequivalent

What is the reality? Composite bioequivalent hormones have not been approved by the FDA (although some traditional hormone therapies have bioidentical hormones approved by the FDA Night Comfort Review), so there is no guarantee that they contain safe levels of hormones.

Bioidentical compounds carry the same risks as traditional hormone therapy: an increased likelihood of blood clots, breast cancer, heart disease and stroke.

And these risks grow with prolonged use. Estriol Night Comfort Review, a type of estrogen, is found in some compound formulas, but its safety and effectiveness are unknown.
